Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Liam is a 1 year old Chihuahua/Terrier/Miniature Pinscher mix who weighs 14lbs. He is good with other dogs (he is sharing his home with another foster dog and they play nonstop) and is pretty much housebroken. He goes outside to do his business but he is also used to a little fake grass patch in the house. He is easy to train because he is so tiny so he can be corrected without effort. He loves his food! He is a happy, friendly, high energy who gets along well with men and women but he does take a little longer to warm up to men. He is getting over his fear of meeting strangers and is much less nervous with them. He is a silly boy who likes to roll over on his back and kick his legs up on the air and do “rocket dog” laps around the house when he is joyful – which is often. He loves his toys and doesn't try to chew anything that doesn't belong to him. He also loves riding in cars and hiking. He is a good eater and just loves being cuddled and held. He also loves his baths. Liam can be nervous when handled by strangers at adoption fairs and may get a little nippy when he is scared but he is fine just walking by strangers if they don't try to pick him up. For now we are not recommending him for a home with small kids but he should be fine with older kids. He does well on the leash (loves long walks) and doesn't pull at all. He is fine in his crate and sleeps through the night in it, only cries a minute or two when he is first crated. He is a smart sweet boy who will make a wonderful companion.
