Bagira's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bagira's Story...
Bagira was abandoned in Oklahoma when she was pregnant. She had 6 puppies in a shed and was taking care of them the best she could. When we were notified about her and her puppies, we were told that if we didn't come and get them, they would all be euthanized. She was malnourished and infested with fleas. Its been about 7 months and all of her puppies have new homes. She is great with kids and other dogs. She will chase cats but has never hurt one. She can climb a fence so she needs to be watched when she goes potty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bagira, a Iowa Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Iowa Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Iowa Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Iowa Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Iowa Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Iowa Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
