Miss Fortune's Story...
Miss Fortune was rescued on July 4th. Her, her brother and her mother were living under an abandoned trailer. Her mom had a litter of 6 puppies and coyotes had killed the other 4. When we rescued her, she was covered in fleas, had sores all over her body from being eaten by ants, was very underweight and very skiddish. We had her adopted once and she was returned to us, We believe the couple that adopted her let their dogs pick on her. She is super submissive and cowers to everyone. She loves to cuddle and is very sweet. She does great with other dogs and kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Fortune, a Iowa Park Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Iowa Park, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Iowa Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Iowa Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Iowa Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Iowa Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
