Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper is either a super-sized beagle or a hound mix. Regardless, this 4-year-old male is one very handsome boy. Cooper was a stray that ended up at one of our local shelters. He had lost some hair on his back from fleas, so wasn’t going to make it to their adoption program. HBHR wanted to make sure this guy gets a good chance at a home of his own.
Cooper is house broken and crate trained. He has spent time living with a trainer, so knows most of his commands. At 40 pounds and 16 inches, Cooper is strong and needed someone to teach him leash manners. He can be a handful when he gets a scent when out walking! He is doing much better, but will need an owner who is a strong pack leader.
This boy loves to play. He is going to need an active family who will give him plenty of exercise. It will be best if he has canine buddies to romp with. He is also a sweet and loving cuddle bear. Cooper will be a loyal companion, so please apply to meet this wonderful boy!
