Here's what the humans have to say about me:
For Hershey, this gorgeous lemon-colored beagle, the glass (or food bowl) is always half-full. She is a super-happy girl who wants to spread the love to everyone she meets.
Hershey loves sunny days when she can stroll the bike trail and poke around the wild flowers for new and intriguing smells. At seven years old she has the maturity and manners of an older beagle, but with the all the zip and vigor of a young dog. She has great stamina and would be a faithful and regular walking companion or a playmate for another dog, yet she is not wild and crazy. She gets along great with the other dogs in her home and loves belly rubs from the well-behaved, dog-respecting kids next door. She sits before meals, will shake hands, uses a doggie door, alerts us to strangers on the porch or front yard, and does not need to be crated.
Other favorite things include: chewing her nylabone, playing fetch in the living room, napping, pets, and, like every beagle, meal time. Hershey belonged to one of our long time super foster parents who had to surrender her because of his health. She has been much loved and it's important that we find this girl a fantastic forever home.
