Darielle's Story...
Darielle (French for "little darling") originally came to us as a victim of Hurricane Katrina from a shelter in Terrebonne Parish, LA in 2006. She was adopted, but returned due to her owners going through some life changing events. She is a beautiful 4 year old petite flashy fawn with floppy ears and a docked tail and deserves to find a forever home. She is great with other dogs, housebroken and very loveable. Darielle does not need to be crated and respects the boundary of a baby gate if it is necessary to keep her in or out of certain areas of the house. She has already been spayed and her vaccines will be updated before she is made available for adoption later this month. She is being fostered in the Jacksonville Beach Area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darielle, a Tallahassee Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
