Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wrigley is a stunning and affectionate fawn male Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. Wrigley is estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old and weighs in just below 75 lbs with some additional weight to gain as he came to DAR&E severely underweight. Wrigley is literally the kindest dog I have ever met and goes by “Wiggly Wrigley” as his whole body wiggles when he’s happy. He enjoys resting his head on your shoulder while receiving hugs, cuddling on the sofa (when he’s invited up) and going for car rides. Wrigley knows “sit” and “no” and is currently working on “down,” “paw” and “stay.” Wrigley respects baby gates but will occasionally give our free standing gate a push and sneak out. Wrigley does wonderfully in the crate and is house trained but will counter-surf if left alone in the kitchen. Wrigley is learning to walk on a leash but is very treat motivated and just needs the occasional encouragement to walk in the direction he’s supposed to. Wrigley is very friendly with strangers and does not seem to have any issues with children or loud noises. Wrigley loves all toys, settles down nicely with a yummy bone and is learning how much fun fetch can be! Wrigley is dog friendly (small and large) but timid around our bossy Doberwoman so he would do best with a doggy sister that is not too rough, although he does love to romp around in the yard. Wrigley has shown some interest in our cat but has been gentle when meeting her, which has included eating treats off of the same seat! Wrigley is a lovely boy who needs a household to give him the love, confidence and activity to be the happy dobie he can be.
