Sebastian's Story...
There you see them, sitting across the way. They don't got a lot to say, but there's something about them, and you don't know why but you're dying to try. You wanna kiss that family. Yes, you want them. Look at them, you know you do. It's possible they want you, too. There is one way to ask them, it don't take a word, not a single word. Go on and kiss that family! Oh man, do I want a family of my own to shower with love! It's true, it takes me a bit to trust new people, but a patient and loving family with a willingness to invest in positive training methods, plenty of play time, and more socialization is just what I need. You know, all the things a good dog needs! I am getting the hang of this crate training, I love a good cat chase, and I get along with other dogs fantastically well. I’d also be happy to share my sea with respectful children 8+ so long as they understand that I am not willing to share my goodies. So swim on over and let me kiss the family! 4 years old-19lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Portland American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
