Facts about Bonnie Belle

  • Breed: Pointer/Bluetick Coonhound Mix
  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Bonnie Belle is a very special dog and needs a very special adoptive family. Bonnie came into our rescue with hip dysplasia and had been accidentally stepped on which causes her knee ro become deformed. But despite the pain, Bonnie is sweet and loving. She loves people! She is so sweet and loves toys. She would do well in a family with older children, not that she has EVER done anything to a small child, we only know how she is with children 6 years and up. The best comfort level for her would possibly be only dog or only one other dog in the family. She doesn't want to be stepped on again. She is heartworm negative. Utd on shots and spayed. She has been in a wonderful foster home and is needing to find her forever home. Hopefully one who has the financial means to provide the surgery she needs. Our estimates were over $500 and our fundraising efforts have failed her as Sumter has a depressed economy. She is around 3-4 years old. If interested contact us on Facebook or on our website for an adoption application. www.carolinahelpingpawsrescue.org
Please help us get this sweet girl back to full function and no pain and placed in a great family!

Her adoption fee is not set as we really need to get her surgery completed. A home visit and vet reference is required.

About Carolina Helping Paws Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our journey started when we took in a Chocolate Lab named Roxie. We brought her into our home setting and our hearts took over from there. She is our Inspiration and she is still with us today.
We are a volunteer group of animal loving people who are the voice for as many as we can be. We can't look into the eyes of an animal and not see the soul that is there. We can't turn our heads and let it be someone's place to help. We all must do whatever is necessary. After that being said, we can't do it alone. We need all the volunteers, help, donations and sharing we can get. We are always looking for fosters to step up to save a life. We provide the food and vetting, we ask that you open your heart and home to help them to reach their final forever home. We are just a stepping stone to their forever home. You can help make that happen. If anyone is interested in anyway to helping our cause we welcome you. We always need fundraising ideas, people to help with fundraiser.
We save animals from shelters, abuse cases, neglect and the poor souls who are dumped. We encourage anyone to lend a helping hand in some way. Doing something small is better than not doing anything at all.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Call and we will set up a time and location. We are fostered based and do not have a facility at this point in time.
We do have adoption events at Tractor Supply on Broad Street in Sumter, SC. and we can make that a location to meet.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee is $150.00 - $200.00 per puppy/dog (depending on medical expenses) and $50-$75 per kitten/cat. Our adoption includes that all animals are up to date on shots, worming, vetting according to their age. All of our dogs are to be spayed/neutered, and a voucher will be included if not old enough to be done. NO EXCEPTIONS...it is stated in our contract. Also, if for any reason you find yourself not able to keep the animal, they are ALWAYS to be returned to us if need arises to do so.
