My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was left alone by a river, surely to die. I didn't know how to be away from mom and my mates. Then an angel came and saved me for you!

Ash is a happy, healthy and a smart young fellow. He is happiest with people but likes dogs as well. Quick to learn, he is now housetrained and goes to the door and sits when he needs to go out, after just a week! He learns quickly, he is kept on a good routine so he has had no accidents while learning to go out. He has also learned "sit", "down" and working hard on "stay" and "come". He is very food motivated so he is very easy to work with when training. We are also working hard on leash training and although he isn't perfect he has come a long way from just sitting on his bum and chewing his leash, he will follow easily and does even better walking with other dogs.

He is crate trained and has no aversion to going in and laying down for the night. I have also seen him go in on his own to nap and chew on his toys. He is a puppy so his drive to chew is big. He loves anything he can put between his big feet and chew on for a while. Balls are a natural for him, without any training he retrieves them and brings them back. He loves to play tug-a-war but his favorite thing is cuddling with his favorite people, he is a real love bug!!!

Ash will make an awesome dog for any active family, He has been a real joy to foster and love.
