Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR Welcomes Henry into the safety of the rescue!!!!
Henry is a beautiful young male shepherd who came to us from a shelter in TN. He was surrendered by his owner who stated Henry had anxiety issues and followed the owner around and wanted to be with him This is typical GS behavior - they want to be with their pack and not stuck in the backyard by themselves. Henry has only been with us for a few days but what we see is a great dog. He is a little skittish at first and takes some time to warm up to you but once he does, he is bouncy, loving, and puppy like. As the video shows, he gets along with other dogs and would do best in a home with a young female dog like himself. Previous owner stated that he is cat-friendly but we have not cat tested him yet. Henry is a loving dog who is willing to please and with daily walking and exercise, he would really shine!
A personal note from Henry's foster mom: "Henry is an amazing boy!! He loves car rides and tennis balls!! He took right to my 10 yr old son, gave my cat kisses and gets along just great with my 1 yr old GS too!! "
