*CARE is located in San Antonio, TX where we have a serious pet overpopulation situation and hundreds of adoptable pets lose their lives in the shelter and on the streets every week. We have been trying to save as many as we can for the past 6 years and with your adoption, we can help save even more.
**This is the base fee for transportation and varies according to weight of the dog and location. Flying to Canada requires an additional customs fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Po, a Hartford Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
