My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hero is a five year old male yellow Lab who was not getting enough exercise in his busy family so he began escaping and running through the neighborhood. He needs an adopter who has the time and savvy to train him. He's not a dog to sit home in the crate while you're at work. Although he's five he has a ton of labby energy. He was raised with kids and is a friendly boy. He weigh 75 lbs and is strong on leash so needs someone who can handle him. He lived with another male Lab and they got along great. We don't know if this will transfer in his new home but we're willing to introduce him to your dog and see how it goes. He would be too much for an older dog, we think. He is now neutered. He's a good boy, friendly, and loves to run. He would do great with teens and up because he's a jumper. He is available to meet you during our Meet-and-Greet hours at the shelter. Lab or large dog experience is a plus for this big boy and a fenced in yard will give him the exercise he needs.
