Max's Story...
Well hi there friends! I'm Max, a handsome German Shepherd/Husky mix guy born in 2008. I weigh around 75 lbs.

I'm a gentle soul who loves people of all ages! I am looking for a forever home with a mellow and loving environment where I can be showered with TLC! I have a happy and sweet demeanor that is sure to win anyone over! I am housebroken and I would enjoy the company of calm canine or feline friend!

Unfortunately, my back legs don't function like they used to. When I was brought to MaxFund, I could not stand up on my own, let alone walk. After a couple months of therapy here, I can stand on my own now! I can even go for short walks! I am currently on three medications and am receiving laser treatments three times a week. I sure don't let anything hold me back! I have such a positive outlook on life!

I think when we meet you'll see what a wonderful gentleman I am! I'm also available for foster! Feel free to ask the front desk more about me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Denver German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
