My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone! I’m Bingo. If you’re reading this, then you’ve hit the jackpot! You’ve found one of the sweetest and cutest dogs around. Eighteen pounds of pure joy, that’s me! I’m an easy-going pup, without a care in the world. My friends think I'm a Pug mix. It's hard to tell for sure with rescue dogs, though.

Okay, there's something I need to get off my chest. It’s not pretty, but please don’t judge me for this. Before I got to CageFree, an unfortunate accident left me with irreversible nerve damage, which has caused me to be incontinent. It’s possible that this is the reason why my family surrendered me and left me at the pound. Trust me, I understand that my situation is less than ideal, but it’s no reason to give up on a family member. I thought families were supposed to be there for each other! In sickness and in health, right?!

The good news is that incontinence in dogs isn't impossible to manage. The majority of people choose to use doggy diapers. I may look a little silly wearing a diaper, but if you don't want a mess in your house, I think you should try them. I've heard they work really well. There are probably some other options out there, which you could look into if you end up adopting me.

Despite all of this, I’m still a really happy guy with a positive outlook on life. I get along great with everyone I meet; people or dogs, I’m not too picky. As long as I have friends around, I’m content. I'm 3 years old, so I don't have that crazy puppy energy. I'd be totally fine with a few daily walks, and some playtime, of course.

Needless to say, I’m looking for a very special adopter. I’m going to need someone who is patient and understanding, someone who will look past my health issues and see me for the amazing dog I truly am. If you take care of me, I promise to always show you just how much I appreciate it, with cuddles and kisses galore. And you can bet that I’d never abandon you, no matter what!

If I sound like the kind of pup you'd like to welcome into your family, please set up a time to come out and meet me. My friends at CageFree will be waiting to hear from you!
