Ozzy's Story...
Hi, my name is Ozzy! I am a perfect gentleman looking for my new family to love! Sit, lay-down, speak, high-five and shake are some of my specialties! I know you are thinking, how is this perfect dog with out a home? Well, I am waiting for you- that's why! I love to go out for walks, show-off my skills and pretend to be a lap dog... hehe, I am about 65#! I am a special dog, as I have Lyme Disease- I have begun treatment with the nice folks here at LCHS, but I will need an understanding owner who is willing to take on my medical situation. If you are interested in meeting me, please give the nice people here at LCHS a call or stop in to meet with me! I am a hound mix (?), around 2-4yrs old, current on my vaccinations, Positive for Lyme Disease, and I will be neutered and micro-chipped before I go home! I hope to meet with you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzy, a New Castle Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in New Castle, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in New Castle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Castle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Castle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Castle paves the way for another one to be saved.
