My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Francine, a gray and white terrier mix, was rescued by HOPE from a high-kill shelter with a broken hip and leg. Now as good as new after orthopedic surgery to repair her injuries, she is ready for her forever home. Francine is medium-size, just under 40 lbs., and 2 – 3 years old. She is very intelligent, gregarious, energetic, playful and affectionate and currently lives with her foster parents and three smaller dogs. Francine does not get along with small children or cats, so she requires a home with adults and older children only (age 14+) where younger children and cats will not be present. Francine also enjoys canine company with the proper introduction and association, particularly her size or larger, that she can interact and play with. Francine likes exercise and mental stimulation and enjoys walking, hiking, playing catch and playing in the water on warm days. If you are interested in meeting Francine, please contact us.
