Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there folks, my name is Connie and my friends call me Concon and I am a Labrador and Border Collie blend approx 6 months old and 20lbs. My mom and I were in the city shelter on death row. A family adopted my mom and thankfully CARE rescue saved me! I had never been with anyone but by mom and when we were separated I was lonely and scared at first but CARE found me a wonderful foster home with dogs to play with and lots of love and structure from my people. I am petite and will likely be about 40 when I am grown. I am shy at first but give me a lil time and love and I will totally wow you! I am a smart and playful girl who aims to please and I love other dogs and would be great with kids and cats too. I will warm up to anyone who is kind to me, I just had a rough start in life but have so much love to give. With a lil time, patience and socialization I have really blossomed and can't wait to meet my forever family!

* CARE rescue is in San Antonio, TX where we have a serious pet overpopulation situation and 400+ adoptable pets lose their lives in the shelter and on the streets every week. CARE is a non profit 501c3 rescue that has been saving lives for over 6 years and with your adoption, we can help save even more deserving urgent adoptable pets! We fly our pets to approved adopters all over the US, especially in low kill and no kill markets where there is a demand for rescue pets!
