Hi, my name is Bugsy. Why, you ask? Your guess is as good as mine! Those 2-legged creatures called humans decided it was cute…like ME, although many of them tell me I am handsome! I think that’s better than cute. Is it? Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a Pit Bull/Lab mix and I am almost 3 years old. I weigh 55 pounds and I am neutered, potty-trained, crate-trained and I am up to date on all of my shots! Pretty good, huh?
Hey! Read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror!
Did you know THIS about pitties? Well, during World War II, we were used as babysitters! Yes, that’s right! If the lady of the house went outside to hang laundry, for instance, we would keep an eye on the kiddos and, if they cried or needed her, we would alert her to the children’s needs. Cool, huh?
Can you stand to hear even more stuff about me? I hope so. Here goes. I LOVE people (gotta have my peeps). I’m not crazy about all dogs, just some of them. I want to be the one-and-only. I don’t like kitty cats either. So, it’s just you and me, kid! I walk well on a leash unless I see a killer squirrel or a cat! I could save you from them! I am also learning to “heel” and my foster mom says that I am doing an excellent job. I will sit for a treat and accept it nicely and I LOVE my chew toys and chew bones. I’ll share them with you. OK? I will also share my love and devotion and I’ll even scratch your ears if you’ll scratch mine. Deal? Let’s go home!
