Facts about Tinker Bell

  • Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Tinker Bell was rescued by a Good Samaritan, Nelly in June 2015 from a very bad situation. She was starved and emaciated at that time, and eventually had to have her back left leg amputated due to severe neglect by her previous owner. Ms. Tinker Bell does not see herself as a handicapped furry however, as she still gets around perfectly fine. In fact, being a very happy tripod has actually gotten her extra love and attention by everyone she meets which she always enjoys!

Tinker Bell is approx. 3 years old with beautiful green eyes, spayed, current on vaccinations, not microchipped, 45 pounds, housetrained and crate trained. She adores people and kids but needs to be the only pet in the household as she's not dog or cat friendly. She is healthy as a bug, loves car rides and walks, and to play with squeaky toys. Tinker Bell is a jumper...yes, even as a tripod!... so an 8' fence is a requirement but doesn't have any bad habits like barking, chewing or digging. Any chance she gets, she'll want to snuggle up to you and give tons of affection and kisses.

If you think Tinker Bell will be a perfect fit within your family and would like to meet her in person, or have any other questions about her, please contact Nelly at hon3y24@hotmail.com or via phone at 323-503-6402. Thank you.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please contact us if you are interested in a meet and greet with any of our rescued dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

All of our adoptions require an adoption application and contract. There is an adoption fee that goes back into the rescue to allow us to save more animals. In general, the adoption fee varies from $200 to $350. In some cases, dogs have received extensive medical care making their adoption expense a bit higher. Those funds can then be used for the next dog in need. Home checks for fencing, etc. is done on all potential adoptive homes. We are currently only adopting animals out to local homes in the souther California area where we can personally meet the families that want to love these special dogs and cats forever.
