Meet Scooter! This adorable 17-pound little guy is a bundle of busy, happy energy. Our best guess for his breed is a Boston Terrier mix. This cutie pie is loved everywhere he goes when he takes trips out in public for socialization. We would classify him as a high to medium energy level dog. He will occasionally enjoy a nap next to your lap, but he is far too busy to slow down most of the time for any downtime. He will do okay as an only dog, but he does love the companionship of his fellow fur friends. Our personal favorite about this guy is his long curly tail!
His favorite pleasures are constantly romping with his foster sister, who is 3x his weight, and playing with his toys. A few qualities we also love about Scooter is he travels well in the car, he is crate trained, he is not a licker, he does not demand attention, and thankfully he does not whine or bark much either. If you are looking for a fun, but busy companion, then Scooter is your guy!
His obedience/house training is progressing nicely and being food motivated like he is happens to be a great help! In less than a week, he has learned commands such as “outside, sit, kennel, and come here.” We have also made progress with house training using consistency and positive reinforcement.
Scooter is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm and flea prevention. He is about a year old.
