My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Kiki and I am ready to find my forever home! I am a male five-year-old Applehead Chihuahua weighing just six pounds who came to the Coronado Animal Care Facility as a stray.

Don't underestimate me because of my petite size; I have a great big heart with so much love to give. Once I warm up to you, I am ready to hit the road and share new adventures. I am pretty darned cute and love prancing around the play yard only to end the session with lap time and kisses! I am not a barker, so this is a plus. I love my walks; they put a smile on my face and lightness to my step. Due to my size, I would do better in a home with adults or a family with older children. If you are ready for a new best friend, come visit me soon, you won't be disappointed!

The Coronado Animal Care Facility is open daily 9:00am to 4:00pm (except holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor. You may complete an application at the Coronado ACF, the online dog adoption application at pawsofcoronado.org or email dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org.
