Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor Sylvester has really had a tough time of it in his life and can't wait to start over again the right way. Sylvester was found as a stray on a rural road all by himself. He was terribly neglected- infested with fleas, dirty and matted, and his little teeth were broken and sticking out in different directions. Those days are all just a bad memory for Sylvester as our little guy has a clean bill of health and is ready to start over again. This 8 year old terrier was so shy and scared at first but once he realized he was in good hands, Sylvester really came out of his shell. He has made so many friends and absolutely adores people. You may not believe it if you see him when he's in his area but please, ask to meet him outside and you'll see what a mush Sylvester is. He is a real gentleman that is polite, friendly, and loves to be held and made to feel safe. Sylvester may be a little bit older but he's got lots of spunk. Just show him a treat or a toy and he'll stand on his hind legs and do a little dance for you. He had most of his teeth removed, but he doesn't let it phase him at all. Sylvester doesn't seem to mind other well behaved dogs and would do best in a home with more mature children. Our sweet little guy is hoping that you'll notice him, and give him the happy home that he's dreaming of. File#25764 11/18/15
