Eugene's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Eugene's Story...
Eugene was just rescued from a not so great home in Tijuana and is now hoping to start a new life here in California. This beautiful spaniel/shepherd mix is thought to be about 5-7 years old and is just a perfect little angel of a dog. He is mellow, easy going and is looking for a nice warm couch to call his own. He is potty trained, great on the leash and loves going on walks. He is neutered, up to date on shots, wormed and microchipped. He is medium to low energy but does enjoy a good ear scratching and gets super excited for treats. He is great with other dogs, cats, children and everyone! Please message his foster mom for more information on precious Eugene!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eugene, a Santa Barbara Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Santa Barbara, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Santa Barbara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Barbara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Barbara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Barbara paves the way for another one to be saved.
