Ted is a male Tibetan Terrier/Poodle mix approximately 3 years in age. He is bigger in size, currently weighing 24 pounds. His ideal weight is probably 28-30 pounds. Ted has a beautiful LONG coat of non-shedding cream colored waves that has sadly been shaved completely off during his stay at the high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. Its such a shame that his coat cannot be appreciated in his pictures, but if you imagine the long, soft fur on his ears being all over the rest of his body, you can get a better idea. His coat will grow out in a short amount of time and will be truly glorious. Ted is a calm, classy dog with a somewhat "refined" air about him. He is friendly, sweetly affectionate, and submissive with people. He just wants to be loved and get along. He will do whatever is asked of him and comes nicely when called. He appears to be very good with his potty training and goes potty outside only. Ted is excellent with other dogs and with kids although he seems to less playful and more of a dog you can hang out with and take on long walks. Ted is great on leash and loves his walks. He also loves treats with already knows how to sit on command (while looking at a treat). He rides quietly in the car and is well-behaved in public. Ted is no doubt going to be the kind of dog that bonds closely with his family and is a loyal companion. He has a sensitive side to him and we think he really wants a family he can call his own and depend on forever. Ted is healthy and ready for his new forever loving home today!
Ted’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Ted is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
