for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Mazzy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mazzy's Story...
Mazzy is a 2 yr old male Yorkie/Maltese mix and weighs about 6 lbs. He was given up by his previous owner who was moving out of Province and couldn't take Mazzy with her. He is a sweet little guy and loves to cuddle or play but does have a bit of a *problem child* side to him which is "resource guarding" He seriously protects what he thinks belongs to him and will need help to overcome this. For this reason he will not be adopted to a home with children. He does bark to alert but warms up very quickly to strangers. Also plays well with other dogs in the home, excitable around cats but gets over that quickly. He will also need training on a leash as he pulls and barks at anything that moves while on a walk - even tho he loves his walks. He would not be suited to an apartment or condo as he does bark quit a bit at noises.
Mazzy will need an experienced owner that will have the patience to train him to make this sweet cuddly little boy a good mannered pet.

Mazzy's adoption donation is $400. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. For an application contact Judianne@happytailsrescue.ca

**applicants must be in a 2 hr driving range from Toronto/Niagara area as we do home visits ourselves with our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mazzy, a Mississauga Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese for sale in Mississauga, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese dog from a breeder in Mississauga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mississauga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mississauga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mississauga paves the way for another one to be saved.
