Rigsby's Story...
How handsome is this guy?! Rigsby is a 38 pound 5-month-old puppy! He is going to be a large boy when he grows up. Rigsby was surrendered to us by a family who did not have time for him. He is a SWEET boy who is good with adults, kids, and other dogs. He is very playful and full of energy. He would do best in an active family. Rigsby is doing well with housebreaking. Rigsby is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rigsby, a Staunton German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Staunton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
