**Crystal is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $500, which covers her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is fully vetted.**
We found this stunning girl just standing in the road near our friend’s house – in fact, we almost hit her! We stopped, popped open the car door, and in she hopped. We knew she was clearly someone’s dog, she was healthy, happy, complaint. We found out she was chipped, but the information on the chip was not current and despite trying our best to find her family, no one has come forward to claim our beautiful girl, so…now she is ready to move on from rescue and find her new life and new family!
Crystal is believed to be a blue tick hound mix, is around 2 years of age, and weighs in at around 60lbs. This girl has been nothing but sweet and gentle since the moment we rescued her, and she adores everyone she meets! She would do great in a family home with children as she loves her people more than anything and is very gentle when it comes to giving affection. She loves to play, and will chase toys and play fetch with you when we are outdoors. Indoors she is a cuddle dog who just wants to be with you while you wash the dishes or watch T.V. She will lay her head in your lap, looking for someone to pet and stroke her ears as she sleeps.
Crystal gets along great with all her canine and feline friends as well. She doesn’t seem to mind meeting new dogs and has adjusted well to life here with us. Crystal is a hound breed, so she needs space to run and play, and daily exercise to keep her happy. She is very smart, and motivated when it comes to training, especially if you have a snack with you. So teaching her will not only be a breeze, but will be a fun activity for the whole family to get in on!
Crystal is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
