Facts about Rossi

  • Breed: Beagle
  • Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
Don't let those little sad eyes fool you. Rossi is a little firecracker, but in a good way. She has so much personality packed into that little pint sized body. She is approximately one year old and weighed in at 19 pounds at her last vet visit. She was picked up as a stray after running in front of my car on the highway. We were unable to locate her owners, so we promised to find her the best home ever. Rossi would be considered medium energy. She plays hard and then rest hard. We often find her curled up in a little ball snoozing. She currently lives with lots and lots of big dogs and can hang with them during play time. She doesn't let her size keep her from participating in all the activities here at the rescue. She doesn't know she is little and is not the least bit intimidated by the large dogs. We will require that Rossi go to a home with a securely fenced in yard as she can easily slip out of any weak spots. We will also require that she go to a home with another dog who is playful. Rossi is crate trained and also crate trained. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. She is currently being fostered in TN, but is available to be transported to the New England area via professional transport to a preapproved adopter.
