Pebbles's Story...
Meet Pebbles, a 3-4 yr old lhaso apso mix. This 8 lb little girl likes everyone! She can live with other dogs, cats and kids of all ages. She is very playful and loves fetching toys and balls. She is excellent in the car and loves a long car ride. Unlike a lot of little dogs, she loves her dry dog food and eats it in one sitting. She is not a barker but makes these little cute gremlin noises that her foster mom adores. Pebbles does need more work on her house training skills. She does pretty good, but you must be quick in the morning getting downstairs or she will have an accident. Pebbles can only see out of one eye. Either an old injury or cherry eye on her right eye, but the vet is not worried about it. She has no problems playing with the four other dogs in her foster home and the 10 yr old little boy. She loves to snuggle at night with her foster parents and foster dog siblings. Peebles up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, hw negative and spayed. If interested in adopting me, please fill out the adoption application at www.pldpaws.org and email it to pldpaws@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pebbles, a Essington Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Essington, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Essington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Essington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Essington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Essington paves the way for another one to be saved.
