Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Angel would love to be your angel. She's a young adult Boxer mix that was found as a stray in Richland County and made her way to Friendship to find a forever home. Her history is not known but she's been a quiet and agreeable girl since her arrival. Angel is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Please give Angel back the loving home she longs for and deserves. Adopt her and you'll think you died and gone to heaven she's so nice.
On January 28, 2016, Angel was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison which puts her return date probably sometime in late March or early April. Prison Dogs cannot be visited during their training. All dogs return on an individual basis.
If you are interested in adopting this prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. You can find an app at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. Hand deliver the adoption application to Friendship or call if you live a distance away to see if you can fax one in. Please DO NOT email the app.
If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321. Or email at adoptions@friendshipapl.org.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
