My story

This pretty wheaten mix came from the shelter with his sister. They don't seem to be too bonded and he is a pretty independent type of guy. He is approx 2 yrs old and 30 lbs.. he's quite "busy" and likes to run around and play and then just crashes and snoozes for a while. He does have some food and toy aggression, but he gets along well with the other dogs otherwise. He just does not like another dog to get his toy and does not like anyone eating out of his food bowl..overall a really nice dog. He is not suitable for an apt and will need a fully fenced in yard..He seems to be quite well house and leash trained...but all the rescues need time to adjust.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.
