MORE INFO ABOUT ME:

Hi!! My name is Bella Lynn and I am 2 yrs old. Best guess on my breed mix is Schnauzer/wire hair terrier mix. However, my foster Mom thinks I resemble a mini Irish Wolfhound and I gotta say that after looking at pics of that breed with her on the computer I tend to agree!! Whatever my lineage may be, it is certainly a mixture of breeds that are cuddly, affectionate, dedicated, and unique looking!! I LOVE humans,,,,of any size or age! As a matter of fact, for the first year of my life I lived with a toddler and was very patient and tolerant with him. But up til coming into the reasue I had never even seen another dog!! Weird, right?? Sooo, you can only imagine my dismay when upon entering my first foster home I was greeted with not 1, not 2 but 3 canines!!! Whoa!!! I was pretty scared to say the least!! But, over the next week I loosened up and learned to fit in. It took me about 8 days but I have learned that can be fun playing with "my own kind" as well as you humans. I am already crate trained, walk good on a leash and enjoy a nice Sunday car ride in the country. About my potty habits (which seem real important to you humans!), I am doing spectacular with them!! Of course, I will need consistancy and patience in a new home until we are able to know each others "schedules". Prior to coming into rescue I was not really socialized a whole lot,,,,I spent most of my time with my (then) family so it takes me some time to get used to things that I am not accustomed to like loud (unfamiliar) noises. But once I am familiar with my surroundings I am fine. My ideal home, you ask?? Well, that would be one that makes me their number 1 priority, center of attention, and has a really comfy couch and lap(s) to offer me. I can co-exist with other dogs just fine, but I'm not gonna lie,,,,I would love sucking up ALL the doggie attention in my new home!! I should warn you,,,,if you do not like a "velcro" dog who has a tendency to be your constant shadow then I am not the dog for you!! But if you are allllll about "dog-on-human" contact then get yourself busy and fill out an application!! love, bella lynn xoxoxo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BELLA LYNN**19 lbs & 2 YRS OLD!!, a Mentor Schnauzer (Standard)/Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Mentor, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Mentor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mentor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mentor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mentor paves the way for another one to be saved.
