Meet Petunia (aka Peta for short). She is a sweet, loving dog that came to POET as an owner surrender as her first family was losing their home and couldn't keep her anymore. She does really well in most situations but can need a few minutes to warm up.

We recommend that if she lives with kids, they need to be older kids that have impulse control. (Just in case she requires space) visiting nieces, nephews, grandchildren, etc will be fine as long as you manage it a little bit. Cats are unknown at this time but we think she would be fine. We will cat test her as soon as we can.
