My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Medium/Long hair, stub tail, female. BEST PERSONALITY EVER! Evie has grown from a very ill, very shaggy and strange looking kitten to an adorable, furry, spunky, bold teenager. She's got so much personality you won't know what to do with her. She doesn't listen to a word I say except when I call her name for affection and then she comes running. She's quite independent, loves to explore, as curious as can be and too smart for anyone's good. She's so relaxed and trusting in nearly all situations that you'd swear she decades older. Yet, she's the most playful, thoughtful and fun little girl. She hates the vacuum and runs from noisy appliances (hair dryer, hair trimmer) but watches them with a shrewd eye like she's trying to figure if they are truly a threat or just a nuisance. She doesn't mind being held or even held like a baby most days. She's loving and adores human affection. However, she is her own kitty and she's really content to do her own thing when it's not all about the snuggling. In fact, often when I'm trying to cuddle her she'll find a string on my shirt that is equally interesting and then it's a toss up as to which one gets her focus. Her focus shifts rapidly because there is so much going on in that little head. But you're guaranteed to have all the focus when it's bed time and first thing in the morning when she's ready for major snuggles. She likes to sleep in the bed with you, normally sprawled on her back which is not a common thing for kitties. She tolerates dogs but mostly just slaps mine, and likes cats a lot. She actually has a kitty best friend and we'd love them to be adopted together if you're thinking of a pair. Kitties are always better in pairs in kitten hood (google it, lots of research to back companions being adopted together). Ask us for details on Evie's BFF. Evie is approx 7 months.
All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on shots, combo tested negative for FIV/Leukemia and microchipped.
