Aleida's Story...
Meet sweet Aleida with the stunning green eyes! She was rescued from the Devore Animal Shelter with her three kittens. Aleida was an excellent mother, patient and loving. But now that her kittens are grown she is ready to find a home of her own.

Aleida loves nothing more than to be right next to you where she can get plenty of attention, including head rubs and chin scratches. She is a mellow girl but also makes the cutest guard kitty. When she hears loud sounds she gives a low growl to scare away the bad trash trucks and motorcycles.

If you are interested in sweet Aleida, please visit www.KittyDevoreRescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aleida, a San Diego Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
