Roscoe's Story...
Hi there! I'm Ross! I've also been called Roscoe and purr box. I love everyone, including great big, gigantic, Great Dane dogs, kids that want to carry me around all day, and even that other cat that likes to hiss at me all the time. My foster family says I'm handsome, but I don't know what that means. So, I'm just going to hang out over here, try to look cute, and wait for someone to pay attention to me. But, I guess you probably want to know a little more about me. Well, I'm 6 months old, and was found in a truck when it was brought to a car dealership to get fixed. I was named after the nice place that helped me out when I was cold and lost. I've already been fixed (was I broken?), vaccinated and HomeAgain microchipped. Now, I just need a forever home! Need a fuzzy, purry little friend?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Valley City Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Valley City, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Valley City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley City paves the way for another one to be saved.
