My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PAISLEY is adorable, happy, friendly, well behaved....the perfect combo! She is 1-2 years old and about 45 lbs. PAISLEY has never met a stranger, and she LOVES other dogs and cats! Her foster mom is a teacher and has 2 kitty cats so PAISLEY lives with kitties every single day. She is also a STAR at doggie daycare. She is just fabulous with other dogs and is in heaven playing with her pup friends. PAISLEY is also great at self entertainment with her toys. Her absolute favorite is her purple dinosaur. PAISLEY is good on leash and is a perfect passenger in the car. She would love to go on family vacations, camping, hiking, anywhere... She is crate trained and knows not to potty in the house. PAISLEY checks every box for the ideal family dog. She is ready to shower her forever family with endless love and affection.

PAISLEY is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the New England area.

All of our dogs start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
