Smokey's Story...
Hello! My name is Smokey! I am a 3-4 year old Cattle Dog/German Shepherd mix. Not typical to my cattle dog nature, I am a smart boy! I like to play and wrestle with the other dog in my foster home. I enjoy spending time in the fenced back yard where I can run and play. However, I enjoy some quiet time on the bed or the couch! I am great with other dogs and do well with older children. We are not sure about cats. I am house trained and crate trained. I am neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

My Adoption Fee is $200.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smokey, a Florence Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Florence, or seeking a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Florence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Florence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Florence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Florence paves the way for another one to be saved.
