Shep's Story...
Sweet Shep is ready to find his forever family! This darling 15-week-old lab/terrier mix is a bit shy at first, but his personality will blossom once he gets settled with the right family. Shep loves to roll and tumble with his three brothers, who he has been fostered with, but when nap time comes, he is a big cuddler! Shep is very loving and would be a wonderful addition to any family with children or other pets. He is currently 20 pounds and will be a medium sized dog full grown. He has had two rounds of shots and been wormed. This is a curtesy post. For more information, contact Linda at malecha70@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shep, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
