Tootsie's Story...
Hey there, my name is Tootsie. I am a white with brown spots female terrier mix. My birth date is 7/7/2014 which makes me about 3 years old and weighing approximately 40 pounds. I was brought to the shelter by a kind family who found me and brought me to the shelter. I am very energetic and love to run around in the yard at the shelter. Since I am so energetic and a very smart dog with a little direction I will become the perfect dog. I am eager to learn new tricks. I love playing in the water and belly rubs.My adoption fee of $160 is quite comprehensive – I am neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed, tested negative for Heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme Disease & current on monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventative. Please think consider making me part of your family, I’d love to find myself in your lap!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootsie, a Hawk Point Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Hawk Point, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hawk Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hawk Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hawk Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hawk Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
