Kilo's Story...
Hi, my name is Kilo and I am a 7 month old shepherd mix that just loves people.

I do well with other dogs and I know a lot of my commands. Like most shepherds, I have a bit of separation anxiety and would prefer to be around people or dogs instead of being alone. If you can provide with lots of attention and some stimulation I will love you forever!

I walk well on leash and I am very affectionate. I do well in large groups of dogs like at the dog park. I would make a great hiking or running partner and I’m small enough to live in an apartment or home. I just don’t like being left alone for long periods.

If you would like to meet me please contact No Hound Unhomed at 719-244-2208 or come meet me at Camp Bow Wow Colorado Springs Central.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kilo, a Colorado Springs German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
