Meet Mardi, or otherwise know as Mardi party! This sweet boy, as his name implies, was found wandering the streets last year around the time of Mardi Gras weekend and thus inherited his awesome namesake!

This beautifully unique pup is a joy of a dog, and loves all things both human and dog! He has a real passion for life, and always seems to bring a big pretty smile for you to greet each and every day with. Mardi is a young pup, under the age of 3, and has all the manners that a pup his age should have! He gets along great with all humans he meets both big and small, and is exceptional around children of all ages. His favorite thing to do is go out and run and play with his smaller human friends with all the toys you can think of bringing! He would make an excellent family dog because of this! Mardi loves other dogs, and gets along great with all of them no matter what size they are. He prefers to be able to run around and play with dogs his own size, but doesn't mind a smaller canine pal or two. Though Mardi is a happy go lucky guy, he does have some "predator" in him. Anything that is scaly, creepy or crawly have no fear, for Mardi will dispose of them from the yard with haste. Due to this, we suggest that cats are not a good option, since they are flighty in nature and will cause his prey drive to mistake them for something else.

Mardi is very well behaved, and knows most of his basic commands like sit, stay, shake, down and settle. He is fully crate trained and doesn't mind keeping himself busy while your away at work. A bone or a toy is good enough for him to keep him occupied! He is housebroken too! He is a great dog to take out on adventures whether it be for a walk, jog, run or even hiking, biking or trailing. He learns routine quickly, and minds very well so anything outdoors that your looking for, this boy can keep up! He loves being out and meeting new people, but his favorite thing in all the world is just someone to cuddle with when the night is done. This happy handsome will end his day curled up in your lap, by your side, or at your feet, wherever you will allow him to really. He is a cuddle dog for sure, and would be a great bed warmer for a kid or two! :)

Mardi is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and on monthly flea and HW prevention. If interested in Mardi, please contact us at KMCanines1@Gmail.com for more information on how to foster, adopt or sponsor Mardi!
