Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pearl -- this pretty little girl is only about 20 lbs at somewhere between 2-3 years old. She was brought to JoJo's as an owner surrender. Her prior owner was anxious to "get rid of her" but we cannot understand that at all. She is such a sweet girl, crate trained and completely housebroken. Pearl came to us favoring one leg, so we have had our vet evaluate her, and were prepared for surgery if necessary. But he has determined that holding her foot up is the result of an old injury but doesn't not seem to be causing her any pain now. He thinks she just developed a habit of keeping that one foot off the ground when it was painful to put it down. Our vet is instructing Pearl's awesome foster mom in some physical therapy for her. He believes within a week or two she will be using her leg normally. We are so happy to have taken her from an unhappy home to give this precious girl a new and happy life. Her adoption fee is $250.00
