My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Esther is an 8 week old kitten rescued from a kill shelter. Esther is a male kitten (we are keeping the original name as it will likely be changed by adopter again and we think it is actually funny).

Esther tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). FIV is the certainly less serious of the two viruses that affects cats. It weakens cats' immune system but most of them have normal life span and stay happy and healthy. Will, we will retest Esther in a few weeks as many kitten test false positive when tested at such young age. Esther tested NEGATIVE for FELV (feline leukemia).

Esther has been vaccinated and will receive boosters, vaccines and will be fixed when he is a little older. He will be the happiest in a home with another kitten or a cat loving pup.

Esther is very sweet and mellow, loves belly rubs and naps in sunny spots.
