Chuckie is a loyal companion. There is nothing this boy wants more than to be with people.
Chuck loves to hang out on any soft surface and watch you do what ever it is you are doing. Even if its just hanging out watching TV he will be happy just to be in your company. Chuck is Crate trained and house trained, he will even talk to you in this weird but adorable howl to let you know its time to go out. He is affectionate and eager to please. He does well with some dogs and we will assist with introductions to make sure that all get a long well.
Chuck has a history of throwing a fit when his foster mom leaves him with a new adopter. Chuck has been in a foster home for over a year, but his foster is reassuring if someone is willing to put in the time and get over his tantrum he will be forever loyal.
His foster is absolutely in love with Chuck and for good reason. But she knows there is a perfect home out there for him that is a better fit than her foster home with new animals in and out. Chuckie has not realized that her home was a temporary spot to save his life.
Chuck's perfect home would be with someone who travels. Chuck LOVES to go in the car and is a great passenger!
Chuck is in a foster home with other dogs and is good with them after a few weeks with them, each new foster being introduced Chuck will have a attitude but corrects easily this will happen twice then everyone is buddy's. Its going to take a special person for this special boy but his love and gratitude makes everything worth it.
