Best Friend is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization which exists only through donations we receive from caring people. We are a small group of animal lovers dedicated to giving cats and dogs a second change at life. Some of the animals we take in may have been abused or neglected, and we feel these animals are especially in need of our help. Some of them have been rescued from the pound just in time. Our cats are in foster homes, but our dogs have to live in a boarding kennel until permanent homes are found.

We're in desperate need of permanent, foster homes, and funds to continue this life-saving program. Volunteers are needed to help with adoption days, taking pets to the vets, fundraisers, etc.

Thank you for considering adopting a rescued animal!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Best Friend does not have a facility. Our cats are in foster homes and some of our dogs are in a boarding facility. We're in desperate need of foster homes!

Please call if you're interested in one of our pets or in fostering.

Our Adoption Process...

If you're considering adopting or fostering one of our pets, please call Charlotte to arrange an appointment. All adopters are required to complete a pre-adoption form.
