Hi I’m Jagger, but my family called me Dash. They had to return me because I grew too big and rambunctious for their small home. I’m still really a puppy, so I need lots of mental and physical stimulation. I love going to the dog park and I am very smart. I just need to work on my manners a little more and need a strong leader to follow. I can be protective of my family and I am afraid of strangers, so it takes a little time for me to warm up to you. If I could live with another friendly, playful dog, it might help drain my energy and calm my fear of strangers. I would not be appropriate for someone who lives in an apartment, condo or townhome because of my size and the fact that I like to hear the sound of my own voice. I don’t like cats, can you blame me? I loved the kids in my former home, but this time I should live in an adult only home because of my fear of strangers and protective nature (if the kids brought friends over, I’m not sure how I’d handle it). I know lots of commands and phrases and have been to obedience class. In fact, my old teacher said I could come back with my new family for free so they can learn what I learned there. I’m just a little boy in a big body and my instinct is to guard due to my breed. If you know Dobermans, can give me the exercise I need and have another dog friend to be my buddy, we might be a great match!
