Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTED.
Cali was dropped off at the ER on New Years eve. after she was hit by a car. Owner was not going to pay any money to give Cali the care she needed and he signed paperwork to get her euthanized. The ER vet contacted our rescue and we agreed to take Cali into our care.
Cali was picked up and taken the Specialty Hospital to have surgery. X-rays show that her femur was fractured and she has lots of shattered bone fragments that need to be removed. It was a pretty bad fracture that required a big metal plate, 3 rods and 6 screws to hold the bones in place. Cali is now making a good recovery and should be back to normal in no time. She is now ready to find a new home.
Cali is only a year old. She is very sweet well mannered dog. She is fully house broken and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs. Not sure about cats.
If you would like to give Cali a good home, please fill out the adoption application on our website.
