Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cali is a beautiful 7 year old female Jack Russell Terrier. She was pulled from a shelter a year ago and was in very poor health. The poor girl had bad teeth, was very thin and heartworm positive. She is now very healthy and fit. Cali is spayed, up to date on all her shots, and is current on flea and heartworm prevention medications. She loves people and is very friendly and loving. She just does not like other dogs at all. Here is what Cali’s foster says about her: “Cali spends most of her time in the house with me while I work from home during the day, but I have to shut the door to my office to keep her separated from the other dogs. She's semi-housebroken as she's perfect when she's with me but is not free to go to the door when she needs to go since we have to carefully segregate her from the other dogs. Cali does get agitated if she's left alone, so I'd recommend that she be crated when she stays by herself indoors. She's a fantastic dog and would make a super companion dog for a single person or couple who have no other animals (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, etc.). She is most content just being near the person she loves. She is very affectionate; she loves to give kisses and roll over to have her tummy scratched. She loves to swim and jumps in the deep end of our pool, swimming around to cool down during the summer, and uses the big step in the shallow end of the pool to get out.”
If you are interested in adopting this beautiful girl please fill out the online application at www.russellrescue.com. Cali’s adoption fee is $150.00. Cali must go to a home with no cats, no other dogs and no kids. A home visit and vet check are mandatory to adopt her. Contact jolleyjames@sbcglobal.net. Cali is located in the Dallas, Texas area.
